Thank goodness Angie uploads her photos like a responsible parent. Here are some photos from their trip to Utah, and there are a few in there of Nora and Hazel in Spring City, visiting the chickens and playing in the kiddie pool.

Rocking
Hazel tries out the rocking chair at the Farmhouse.
Dave & Angie
I hope it’s OK with Angie if I share her photos from this weekend here. I couldn’t resist–they’re probably the best pictures that have ever been taken of my kids. Keep clicking for tea parties, Nora’s introduction to the iPad, swinging, pumpkin carving, and more Midway and Spring City adventures. Please come visit again soon, you two!
Nora’s High Tea Accent
Thanks to Dave and Angie for both encouraging this behavior and capturing it. We love you guys!

Lesson Learned
Nora looks all peaceful, doesn’t she? Out in nature, enjoying the rocks in this shady little canyon near Spring City? Little did we know that in mere moments our decision not to go to the bathroom before leaving home would have near-disastrous consequences.
I like you
But…I don’t like you the BEST.
snow beast
Pop-Pop and I took Nora out sledding on the snowy streets around the farmhouse. I like that this has the makings of a Christmas tradition.
keeping her brains warm
My mom wears this cozy winter hat completely unironically. Thank goodness now Nora does too.

Thanksgiving
I don’t know why I can’t seem to get my act together and take some decent photos at Thanksgiving. What we have here is a few photos taken with someone else’s camera of the excursion to the Eagle Tree with Dave, Angie, and Becky (who has twinner coats with Nora) and then the photos Nora took with my camera while we were in church. After we stopped her in the nick of time from throwing herself off the balcony, the camera seemed to be the only thing that would keep her sitting down and relatively quiet. Sorry, fellow churchgoers.
