Jillian and Rylee joined us for our weekly walk around the block with Alex.

baby shower

Blake’s cousin Amanda, in addition to being adorably pregnant, is a much more conscientious blogger than I am. Nora and I went to her baby shower last weekend, and she has already put up the pictures–including several darling ones of Nora. If you don’t feel like waiting three months to see what Nora looks like today, check out Amanda’s entry here.

zooin’

This is Nora’s favorite shirt to wear to the zoo. She likes to match the zebras.

goofin’

Just mugging for the camera.

The bandage on Nora’s hand is to keep her from scratching, so her eczema doesn’t get worse/infected. Poor little itchy bean.

run around the block

This is one of those days Nora and Alex took their walk around the block at a dead run. The house with the hedges is their favorite place to stop and explore–it’s for sale, and I helpfully included the phone number here so you can put in an offer.

supposedly there are animals, but I don’t know

Here’s Rylee and Nora at the zoo. I’m glad I got a few photos of their favorite attraction, the spinning water ball fountain.

Thanks, Grandma, for the zoo membership! We have been using it a ton.

pre-training

We started having Nora sit on the potty every once in a while long before attempting any kind of concerted potty training. I like to think it helped lay some groundwork, but who knows? I’m pretty sure she just liked having the undivided attention of whoever came in to tell her stories while she was sitting there–in this case, Uncle Jeff.

P.S. Don’t tell 14-year-old Nora that I posted these.
