rocking out
Sarah and Blake took Nora to the Arts Festival while I was gone, and on the way out she got so tired that the only thing to do was to lie right down in the rocks and sing a little song.

cuddle time

Nora was convinced that this ball channel lined with astroturf was a slippery slide, and she was determined to prove it (at the expense of her pants).

mom’s shoes
Any baby of taste enjoys walking in a pair of Louboutins now and then.
Mommy loves you
Nora’s come a long way from answering this question with “Wall-E.”
Oh, man. My heart bursts open every time she bites her fist.
cutest android on the block
This is the event that convinced Kaeleigh that my daughter is an android. I had forgotten some of the details, but thankfully I heard Kaeleigh’s Nora impression the other day (transcribed here).
After fleeing the rained-out outdoor showing of Mamma Mia, we all ended up back at my house, where Blake was getting Nora ready for bed.
Nora: “Rain! Outside! Outside! Outside! Rain! On face! Outside! Outside! Outside!”
So, we obligingly got Nora bundled up in her rain coat and galoshes, and set her down on the sidewalk in front of the house.
Nora: “Ew! Ew! Ew! Ew! Inside! Inside! Inside!”
Pretty much exactly like an android.
